Fire update: the Fire Safety Team met with the District fire chief and a representative from the Coastal wildfire service onsite to review conditions. Although conditions province- wide are poor, the Cheam site is still moderate, and we agreed that we will plan to burn the effigy on Saturday, conditions permitting. Kent district will bring a fire truck, and Coastal fire will be there too; we will jointly make the call the evening of the burn.

NO OTHER WOOD FIRES ARE PERMITTED ONSITE, INCLUDING THE BURN BARRELS.
