How to Transfer or Sell Your Ticket

There are 3 ways...

In previous years, we’ve facilitated a secondary market through a direct ticket transfer, where payment arrangements are your own risk. This year Quicket has added the ability to do a public/private sale through a refund mechanism that may be better in some circumstances.

Please read all three options and see which one is right for you!

Option 1 – Direct Transfer.

Transfer your ticket directly to the buyer and arrange payment with them privately.

Steps:

  1. If you don’t have a buyer, list your ticket under the BitF Ticket Exchange Market Place
  2. Once you have found a buyer, negotiate payment method, and transfer your ticket directly to them by doing the following…
This will remove the ticket from your account and put it into the recipient’s Quicket account with a new barcode (if the recipient does not have a Quicket account we will create one for them).
This process is irreversible. Please triple check that you have entered the correct email address for the recipient

Start off by logging in to your Quicket account with the email address you used to make the booking (click here if you need help with your password), and go to My Tickets. Under Options, choose Transfer tickets

Enter the email address of the person you’d like to send the ticket to, select the ticket you’d like to transfer and confirm that you understand the process.

The financial transaction part of the exchange is entirely at your own risk. Please be mindful of possible ticket scammers. Check their FB profile for connections to the community, make sure their profile seems legit.
Be sure to use our Ticket Number Verification Tool to help us clamp down on scammers. This tool will help you know if the ticket you’re buying is real. If you’re having any problems with the tool, or want to double check the veracity of someone’s claim please email [email protected].

Option 2 – Private Resale.

Sell and transfer your ticket to someone directly through Quicket, and receive a refund to the credit card that the ticket was purchased on. This allows the buyer the ability to purchase the ticket using their credit card

Steps:

  1. If you don’t have a buyer, list your ticket under the BitF Ticket Exchange Market Place
  2. Once you have found a buyer, negotiate payment method, and offer your ticket to them for private sale via credit card by doing the following…

This is only available to those who originally purchased the ticket on their credit card!

Start off by logging in to your Quicket account with the email address you used to make the booking (click here if you need help with your password), and go to My Tickets. Under Options, choose ‘List tickets for resale‘.
Select the ticket you are wanting to sell and click ‘Private’ under ‘Type’. You will also need to provide the email address of the person you are selling the ticket to. NB: Triple check that you have the correct email address before confirming the resale.
Once you’ve checked that you’ve selected the correct ticket and have provided the correct email address, you can click the button ‘List Tickets’. Quicket will process your refund back to the account from which it was debited.

Please note you will not be refunded until the buyer has successfully purchased the ticket. The person you are selling to will receive an email from Quicket with a link to purchase your ticket. Once their purchase is successful, you will receive an email from Quicket letting you know that your original ticket was cancelled and refunded. You can expect your refund to reflect into your account within about 7 working days.

Option 3 – Public Resale.

Sell and transfer your ticket through the BitF Quicket Sale Page, and receive a refund to the credit card that the ticket was purchased on when somebody does! This allows the buyer the ability to purchase the ticket using their credit card, without having to do anything to find a buyer!

Steps:

  1. List your ticket for ‘Public Sale’ in Quicket using the following instructions..
  2. Wait for someone to buy it…

This is only available to those who originally purchased the ticket on their credit card!

Start off by logging in to your Quicket account with the email address you used to make the booking (click here if you need help with your password), and go to My Tickets. Under Options, choose ‘List tickets for resale‘.
Select the ticket you are wanting to sell and click ‘Public’.
This will make your ticket show up on the main BitF Quicket Sale Page.
